Become a Better Songwriter & Collaborator Through Our Free 2-Day Songwriting Camp Featuring Sydney-based pop trio, PEPTALK.
Ready to take your songwriting to the next level?
This free, application-only camp is designed for artists who want to experience the magic of co-writing — whether it’s your very first time or you’ve done a few sessions before.
Across two inspiring days, you’ll grow your confidence in collaboration, learn how to protect your songs and your collaborators, and leave with two brand-new songs for your catalogue — plus the chance to share them on stage.
*Limited to 12 participants to ensure a personalised experience.
What you’ll gain:
Hands-on co-writing experience: Write in small groups with guidance from professional songwriters and producers. You’ll get to try new ideas, explore different styles, and discover how much easier and more fun it can be to finish songs when you’re not working alone. By the end, you’ll walk away with two brand-new songs to add to your catalogue.
Collaboration skills for life: Foster creative flow, compassionately connect with your co-writers, share constructive feedback that uplifts, and create a safe and supportive space to tell authentic, impactful stories.
Know-how to protect your songs — and your people: Understand the basics of how songs earn money, how to make sure everyone’s contributions are recognised, and how to protect both your work and your co-writers in future sessions.
Mentorship from working artists: Learn directly from Sydney-based pop trio PEPTALK (Phoebe Sinclair, Lara Frew, Jay-Lee Kwan) and former Atlantic Records engineer Max Hurrell and Billboard-charting songwriter Leena Regan of Songbird Society.
A new, supportive community: Meet other local songwriters who’ll not only cheer you on but have the potential to become long-term creative partners and life-long friends.
A live showcase opportunity: End the camp by performing your new songs in an intimate showcase on the Songbird Society stage.

Who Should Apply:
Songwriters who are ready to grow, want more experience co-writing, and are open to learning in a supportive environment. We especially encourage applications from under-represented voices and communities, and from residents of the Charles Sturt Council area.
