Songbird Society is a full-service modern music facility equipped with two world class multipurpose recording studios. Alongside a vibrant, intertwined live recording space, our newly renovated facilities are designed for modern production and recording. Our spaces provide a unique creative space for bands, solo artists, producers, and instrumentalists.
Recording
Our recording space is both at the heart of our building and the heart of everything that we do. Equipped with lifelong passions for recording and a selection of both modern and vintage microphones, we have the tools and expertise to bring your song to life. Max has over a decade of experience in studios between Australia and Los Angeles and a vast collection of creative history with both signed and independent artists. His hybrid approach to recording allows him to cater to both the highest standard of digital transparency and fidelity, as well as the flexibility and timeless character of analogue recording.
Music Production
Ready to start from the ground up, our production services are here to provide the gateway from demo to a Billboard quality track. With over a decade of songwriting, production, and engineering experience, Max has worked in almost any genre of music imaginable using both traditional and modern music production techniques. At Songbird Society, you will enjoy a truly collaborative experience and will work one-on-one with Max to refine the arrangement and songwriting elements of your song before expanding into his intentionally curated selection of both digital and analogue instruments. You will be guided through every step of the process in order to fully realise your creative vision.
Mixing
Mixing is the process that elevates a song to its full potential. A great mix will allow your track to stand out with an overall musical impact and lasting sonic impression. Max’s mixing approach has been developed in studios both in Australia and Los Angeles, California, and he works with artists and music creators all over the world, across a variety of genres. His hybrid approach to mixing combines modern digital mixing and sound design software with a diverse selection of unique digital and analog outboard gear to champion the character and clarity of any song.
